Returns Policy
We hate to hear you’re considering a return at Roofing Insulation, here’s why and what to do:
Steps If You’re Thinking of Returning:
- Email us at returns@roofinginsulation.co.za with your order number and why you want to return it. Tell us if you’ll drop it off or need us to pick it up.
- Pack it carefully—use bubble wrap or something sturdy. Don’t just use the product’s bag, or we’ll subtract any damage costs from what we owe you.
- We’ll send you the return address based on where in Gauteng it went—like Johannesburg, Centurion, or Pretoria—once you contact us with your order details.
Unless the insulation arrives faulty or damaged, you’ll cover the cost of sending it back. For special orders from manufacturers, there’s no cancelling or returning once it’s shipped—unless it’s broken when it gets to you. Order the wrong thing? You’ll pay full shipping costs both ways. Refuse a special order at delivery? You’re still on the hook for the price unless it’s faulty. Wet insulation’s a big no—soggy stuff can’t be resold, and we can’t tell until it’s unrolled. Use a tracked delivery service—we’re not responsible if it gets lost.
Cancellations & Costs
You can back out before we ship—just email us at returns@roofinginsulation.co.za. Once it’s on its way, no changes unless it’s faulty.
Shipping Fees:
If it’s left our warehouse, you’ll pay a fee for us to pick it up—cost depends on how far you are and what you ordered, unless it’s damaged.
Your Legal Rights:
This policy doesn’t change your basic rights under South African law.
Replacements:
Faulty or broken insulation? Tell us at returns@roofinginsulation.co.za right away—we’ll replace it if it’s our mistake.
Measure twice before ordering—wet or opened insulation stays with you unless it’s defective. Contact us—we’ll help you get it right!
